New York, NY— Working in Support of Education (W!se) held its inaugural 5K Fun Run on May 16, 2024, at Pier 64 in Hudson River Park, New York City. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of participants and spectators.
Highlights:
Top Male Winner: Christian Bermel, with an impressive time of 17:46.
Top Female Winner: Stacey Lawrence, finishing strong at 22:40.
Fastest Team: “Chris and Friends,” showcasing remarkable teamwork and athleticism.
The event was supported by the generous lead sponsorship of Fortitude RE, Cerity Partners who sponsored the awards and Getzler Henrich, Checketts Investment Management, Jim Abry, and Lisa E. Solomon who sponsored the halfway and mile markers.
“This was an exciting Fun Run, one of the events we are organizing this year as part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations.
