Morocco’s Royal Navy Assists 43 Sub-Saharan Would-be Migrants
Rabat – A Royal Navy patrol boat intercepted, on Monday off the coast of Mohammedia, a boat carrying 43 sub-Saharan would-be migrants, including 17 women, 4 children and 2 babies.
The rescued people received the necessary care onboard the Royal Navy patrol boat before being transported to the port of Casablanca and handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures, the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces said in a press release.
